Session450 got its start, 15 years ago, as an informal weekly music residency at Joco’s
Kitchen & Bar in Waltham, MA. They now perform at clubs, festivals, and concerts all over
New England! Recent performances include the Blues for Veterans Festival and the
Regent Theatre in Arlington. The band recently released their debut album, Sonic Soul,
highlighting their vibrant blend of original rock, soulful jazz, and classic blues. Session450
is proud to inaugurate the ‘Rockin’ At The Post’ 2025 concert series in support of Watch City
Arts.

Bio: Slip Resistant Soul is a 5-piece Retro Badazz Funk, Soul and Blues Rock band
(bass, drums, guitar, sax, and Soul singer) with big 60s NOLA influences and
plenty of solos. Based out of Waltham, SRS packs set lists chock full of high-
energy Feel-Good Music, balancing custom takes on the well-known, curated
deep-cut gems, and a few curveballs to enthusiastic responses from audiences
and critics alike. Always danceable without being predictable, SRS music appeals
to all age groups, engaging both general Live Music fans and serious Music
Connoisseurs. We play music we love and know that audiences will dig.

Soft Touch is a classic big band with full horn and rhythm sections and two
outstanding vocalists. This Waltham-based, 18-piece band specializes in
swing-era music from the ’40s to the ’60s, plus Broadway hits and classic
rock favorites. Directed by Kurt Thaller, the band is comprised of volunteer
professional and serious amateur musicians who donate their engagement
fees toward college scholarships for local high school seniors who have
excelled in music.

Christina, known on stage as Angeliq, is a seasoned Boston-based
performer whose soulful voice and rich musical journey span blues, jazz,
soul, rock, reggae, and world rhythms. Starting in her church choir and later
mastering guitar and saxophone, she honed her jazz chops with Berklee-
trained musicians and toured internationally, performing across Europe and
the Caribbean.
A former member of an award-winning all-woman band, Angeliq has graced
stages from The House of Blues to Cambridge’s World’s Fair and Middle
East showcases. Today, she brings decades of experience, heart, and
groove to audiences across New England and New York, delivering music
that uplifts, connects, and inspires. singing and playing rhythm guitar on the
Blues and RnB and Soul. And feel so alive when singing and swinging
Rachel Borges is a singer/songwriter from Fair Haven, New Jersey,
and a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in
Professional Music, specializing in voice. Mike Orifice, from
Lexington, Massachusetts, is a guitarist and audio engineer with over
25 years of experience. He earned his degree in Audio Engineering
from The Art Institute of New England and has been teaching and
performing throughout the region.
Their musical journey began in an assisted living facility where Rachel
worked, and Mike’s grandmother lived. A shared love of music led to
impromptu jam sessions, blossoming into a meaningful artistic and
personal partnership. They made it official with their wedding in 2021.
Since 2013, Rachel and Mike have recorded over nine albums and
performed together at a wide range of venues across the East Coast.
Known for their heartfelt performances and strong harmonies, they
bring a special touch to weddings, libraries, senior homes,
celebrations of life, house parties, and community events.
Their mission is to bring joy and connection through music—
especially to seniors and underserved audiences—making them a
beloved duo for any occasion where warmth and sincerity are center
stage.
