I have been doing mosaics since 2008. I always liked being creative and tried my hand at quilting, knitting and pottery, but just wasn’t into these creative outlets. I got into mosaics when a new neighbor moved next door to me in our Island neighborhood in Waltham. She was a mosaic artist. She set up a studio in her house and started teaching. I was really excited to start taking classes. I finally found my medium. Since then I’ve studied mosaics with well-known mosaic artists from all over the world and started teaching mixed media mosaic courses in my home studio and at art centers in New England and Massachusetts.
